Hi guys im currently doing driving lessons and looking to get a road quad once i pass my test.

im just wondering if there is any new drivers on here that can tell me what sort of prices you have been getting for insurance?

will be looking at getting a LTZ 450 or a TRX depending on what i can put together

Hi welcome .... what I will advise is to go to bikesure or your preferred insurers to ask first before making any quad purchase. Because of your age you will probably find it hard for most insurers to take you on. Can't remember who it was on here but he was around the same age as you & could only get insurance for some 4 stroke models up to a certain cc (no 2 stroke). Always best to check first.

Cheers mate will do , just trying to find something as there doesn't seem to be alot of Japanese Quads that's road legal about the now. mostly them ltz i was looking at one on ebay a few weeks back (Klf i think it was) but il check prices first before buying im not buying a car for this reason as the insurance is just too high for my age i don't mind paying out a fair bit on a quad for it as im into quads/bikes but not into cars reason i won't spend cost for the insurance.
