WTF are you lot like? turn my back for a short while and ----------

ok so i can see what Don is getting at because my insurance specifies -- locked garage with ins approved ground anchor, chain and padlock and that if parked it must be chained to something substantial, also if the ins company deem it that the quad has been stored elsewhere and not "kept at home address" then i can see they would not payout -- but i can also see grey areas with it all.

now as for the banter -- well banter is fine by me

i am sure you boys can kiss and make up

agree can see grey areas as mine states if within 200 metres of home address must be garaged and chained
but specifies nothing about if away from home , so not sure . but I do think if your away for a weekend
then unreasonable to expect it to be garaged etc as long as reasonable measures taken to make as secure as possible
ie disc lock chain etc
tbh x8 weights 400 kg without adding anything so not like there going pick it up and walk off with it
so would take time and a lot of boddies to lift in van etc especially if wheels chained and disc lock so wheels wont turn
just my thoughts

My policy takes less than a paragraph

"some idiot hits you, we might pay out, you hit someone, it gets stolen or anything else under the sun that can lead to a claim don't waste your ink on the form, it's tough shit"

This is paraphrasing a bit
