Good to hear cheers for the heads up, only got 150 miles on the quad so far so when it comes round to just under the 1k mark I will take a look and refresh the bearings.

My 2 cents, if your really worried then change the bearings but if it aint broke...... Regular checks are your friend.

When changing bearings heat is your friend. Aluminium expands more that steel when heated so when removing or replacing bearings it helps to put the part in the oven at around 200c. The tempreture is not critical but it far easier to knock out an old bearing from a hot/warm aluminium hub. Equally if the tolerance is very tight putting the replacment bearing in the freezer will cause the metal to contract, you see what im saying ?
Speed is just a question of money. How fast do you wanna go?

I've had my quad over a year now. New engine, new pretty much everything......not had to change any bearings yet and done about 4000 miles on it, majority being on road but some mud days too

Would assume you've already got a sports exhaust and hi flow air filter fitted which would require an upjet? Will need it for getting the best from a larger capacity engine. As for what size I don't think anyone on here has done one so it would be trial and error. But to be safe get a bigger main jet (1, maybe 2 sizes up) ready just to be safe. Would possibly even need 1 size up on idle jet too
