quick shock absorber question

Postby mrtigger » Thu Oct 16, 2014 7:19 pm

looking at some aftermarket shocks for the quad, current ones are about 26mm wide at the mounting eye,and the gap on the bracket on frame itself is about 30mm wide, however new shocks im interested in are only 21mm wide..... if they dont come with the required "padding" to fill out the side gaps, can it be taken up with eg washer? cant imagine leaving it like that would be wise as it could slide side to side?

or maybe just bend in the bracket a bit? naughty but hey
