Firstly I have just joined so hello all

Where can I get a rear rack and a steering damper kit for my xlc500 from at sensible money please :y2:

Try quadbikesrus for rack, not sure what dampers would fit, don't think any manufacturers make one specific for any quadzilla bike really.

For the steering damper you need to measure the steering stem & buy one with the clamp roughly the same diameter. The frame diameter is similar to the big names do shouldn't be a problem.

I installed this one from this company. It does the job but some people don’t like the zip tie that is required to hold the damper body away from the front shock. It is expensive but I have no tank slapping at all at any speed. If your interested I can email you some photos of my install. The zip tie isn’t as bad as it sounds.

I managed to buy a secondhand rack from a 250 (cant remember what model or year). I had intended using a welder and making it fit. I didnt need to, it bolted straight on, and mine is a 2016, at least 5 years younger than the 250.
